This monopolistic pseudo private/government organization in theory is a great thing. However, in practice it is far from perfect. Whether this is due to malevalence, ambivalence, incompetence or some combination thereof, AAFES truly does suck! Thanks to the internet We, the "best customers in the world", have other options.
